Resilient Roots Counseling, LLC
I am accepting new clients and supervisees starting in January 2026
Virtual therapy for residents of Georgia:
Finding your voice and reclaiming your authentic self can feel overwhelming, especially when you're navigating the complexities of life. As a licensed professional counselor with specialized training in selective mutism, trauma therapy, religious deconstruction, and body image concerns, I provide a safe space where teens and emerging adults can explore their experiences without judgment and develop the tools they need to thrive.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices viewed through a Relational Cultural lens which emphasizes mutuality and collaboration. I believe in "empowering with" my clients rather than using "power over" approaches, recognizing that you are the expert on your own experience. Whether you're struggling to find your voice after experiencing trauma, questioning beliefs that no longer serve you, working through body image concerns, or navigating the complex process of religious deconstruction, I'm here to support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
At Resilient Roots Counseling, you'll find a space where your experiences are validated, your growth is celebrated, and your authentic self is honored. My practice is safe and affirming for everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, or any other aspect of your identity. I believe in fat liberation, food neutrality, and personal autonomy - honoring your right to make decisions about your own body and life. Currently offering services online, we can work together to build the resilience and skills that will serve you long beyond our time together.

Clinical supervision for associate-licensed counselors anywhere the Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential is accepted:
I fell in love with supervision as a doctoral student, so much so that I focused my dissertation study on clinical supervision! I enjoy working with counselors to provide the best possible care to their clients and students. I have a background in both school and clinical counseling, which positions me to work well with school counselors pursuing clinical licensure, school-based therapists, and clinical counselors who work primarily with children and adolescents.
As a supervisor, I utilize an integration of the Discrimination Model (Bernard, 1979) and the Integrated Developmental Model of Supervision (IDM; McNeil et al., 1992). Supervision sessions will be scheduled once or twice a month, with additional consultation sessions available as needed.
